5% Day to Benefit Friends of Split Oak Forest Friends of Split Oak Forest is our August 5% Day beneficiary. Simply dine in or take out on Saturday, August 18th, and we’ll donate 5% of your check to this cause! Friends of Split Oak Forest’s (FOSOF) mission is to protect the integrity and health of Split Oak Forest Wildlife and Environmental Area. FOSOF’s current efforts to safeguard this conservation land include outreach, activism and legal action to defend this unique natural area from harm and to preserve this property for the public forever, as intended.
