March is here, and spring has sprung! This month, some people will get excited about planting their gardens, and others get excited about the college basketball tourney or MLB spring training. Some start to look forward to a summer vacation. And we love all of those things, too. But, here at Ethos, we get the most excited about Saint Patrick’s Day!
Kelly’s Irish ancestry and his love of simple, hearty foods make it a special treat each year for us to carefully prepare (and eat!) some of his Irish food favorites – all vegan, of course! Join us this year for Saint Patty’s on Saturday, March 17th, when we’ll be featuring vegan versions of Irish traditionals plus $3 bottled beers all day long. Complete details are below! »View Flyer
We are pleased to announce the gift certificate winners* for March: Jason Garland has won a $25 gift certificate in the new subscriber drawing, and Richard Giambruno has won a $10 gift certificate in the existing subscriber drawing. 5% Day to Benefit Farm Sanctuary
 In honor of Meatout 2012 we’ve selected Farm Sanctuary as our March 5% Day beneficiary. Simply dine in or take out on Saturday, March 10th, and we’ll donate 5% of your check to this cause. Farm Sanctuary is a non-profit that protects farm animals through rescue, education, and advocacy.  They provide lifelong sanctuary to rescued farm animals on the 500 acres that comprise their three rescue shelter farms.

 Meatout!
Meatout occurs on March 20th every year. Organized by the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM), the intent of Meatout is to encourage and help folks to “kick the meat habit.” In honor of Meatout 2012, why not introduce a friend or family member to vegan food by taking them out to eat at your favorite local vegan restaurant, or by cooking them a tasty vegan dinner at home? Your guest just might enjoy their vegan meal enough to eat meatless more often, and every meal makes a difference!
