Spring is here! After the harsh winter, it’s wonderful to see flowers blooming again, and new leaves sprouting on previously frost-bitten branches! Now is the time to enjoy our outdoor patio – before the hard and grim reality of the hot Florida summer sets in!
Our e-Newsletter is brimming with good news, including our brush with celebrity, new awards and honors, plus details on our special events this month, including a 5% Day for Florida Boxer Rescue, the last Pierogi Night of the season, Earth Day at Lake Eola, and Easter Brunch. In menu news, we’ve complied with your requests (and in some cases, demands!) that the Muffuletta sandwich come around more than once a year for Mardi Gras – we’ve added it as the Tuesday lunch special! Our vegan Muffuletta features layers of vegan ham, pepperoni, and cheese, topped with a housemade olive spread, lettuce, and tomato, all served on a giant Kaiser roll. Yum! Chickpea Salad lovers, don’t despair: the Chickpea Salad Sandwich has moved to Saturday.
We are pleased to announce the gift certificate winners* for April: Nicole Arroyo has won a $25 gift certificate in the new subscriber drawing, and Billy Johnson has won a $10 gift certificate in the existing subscriber drawing. Did you know that Ellen DeGeneres is vegan? The Ellen Show spent the last few days at Universal Orlando filming their show, and, for the second year in a row, Ethos was selected to provide Ellen and her staff and crew with vegan food during her visit! As a special thanks, we received four tickets to be in the studio audience during one of the shoots – which Laina, Nick, Andrea, and Summer greatly enjoyed on Sunday. The show they attended will be airing Tuesday, April 5th, at 3pm on WESH-2. Nick was selected to dance on stage, so there’s a chance you’ll see him doing a full split on TV! Special thanks to Ellen, the Ellen Show, and Universal Orlando for their continued patronage!

5% Day Beneficiary: Florida Boxer Rescue
 Florida Boxer Rescue is our April 5% Day beneficiary. Simply dine in or take out on Saturday, April 9th, and we’ll donate 5% of your check to this cause. Florida Boxer Rescue’s mission is to rescue unwanted or abandoned purebred Boxers in central and western Florida and place them in safe, responsible, loving, permanent homes.

Pierogies!
Our April Pierogi Night will start at 6pm on Tuesday, April 19th; choose between four or six handmade pierogi and add a vegan Kielbasa for +$2.50, and sour cream and/or sauerkraut for +50¢. We’ll also be featuring a special $3 price on bottled beer! Please note: this is the last pierogi night of the cool-weather season!
